Claim, correct or remove a listing

Where the listings come from

The business listings on this site are compiled from open map data published by the Overture Maps Foundation (Places theme). That data combines sources including Meta, Microsoft and BrightQuery, available under the CDLA Permissive 2.0 licence, and Foursquare (Copyright 2024 Foursquare Labs, Inc. All rights reserved. Available under Apache 2.0; NOTICE). Foursquare data was transformed to the Overture schema. Every listing page names its source.

A listing shows only what that open data holds about a business: its name, kind of work, city, state, ZIP code, phone number, website and metro area. We do not add ratings, reviews, opening hours or any claim that a business is licensed, insured or verified. Listings can be incomplete or out of date.

What you can ask for

• Claim a listing if you own or run the business.
• Correct details that are wrong or out of date.
• Remove a listing. Any business, or the person a listing names, can ask for this.
• Add a business that is missing.

How we handle a request

Send the form below. We check each request against the business's own website or public records before we change anything, and we may write back to the email address you give. We normally reply within 5 business days, and a listing whose removal is requested is taken offline within 5 business days. Requests are handled by the site owner and used only for that purpose; see the privacy policy for how long we keep them.

Why we may publish business listings

We publish openly licensed information about businesses that offer services to the public, so that people can find local garden help. Where a listing relates to a sole trader, that is personal data; we rely on our legitimate interest in providing a public directory, and you can object at any time by asking for removal.
